“The Latino Summit was a fantastic opportunity to meet and learn from leaders, successful business men and women, community leaders, entrepreneurs, and young, aspiring leaders of tomorrow. I thoroughly enjoyed having the chance to meet with such a diverse group of people, hearing about and sharing experiences and stories, and believe it would be a valuable experience for anyone.”

former President and CEO (Publishers of the popular Guitar Hero) Entrepreneur
The Latino Summit was both inspiring and uplifting. The panel discussion and speakers throughout the day were outstanding. It was great hearing the speakers reinforce the importance of an education and that the ”academic finish line” is no longer high school. Everyone has a story to tell, and it was amazing to hear the stories of others and how their personal strength and determination helped them to achieve victory over adversity. There was truly a lot of energy in the room, the vision and passion to succeed and help others was apparent. I truly enjoyed being a part of such a wonderful summit, and I would encourage others to attend. What I captured were only a few nuggets; there were certainly many more.

"The Silicon Valley Latino Summit is one of America's premier Latino networking conferences for students and professionals alike. The conference brings together some of American's most brightest and talented Latino Professional Leaders and students across the country. The conference allowed my Ivy League Project high school students and I an opportunity to interact with business, political, and other visionary leaders from Stanford, Harvard, and Yale Universities. The Silicon Valley Latino should be recognized, supported, and applauded for organizing a progressive and visionary conference."Martin Mares
CEO Ivy League Project
"After attending the Silicon Valley Latino Leadership Summit, I am impressed by the passion, intelligence, and entrepreneurial spirit displayed by the participants at the conference. The Latino community here, much like the Israeli business community, is continuously seeking innovative ways to achieve great things - both as individuals, and as members of their communities. At this summit, I found that it is the shared spirit and values that encourages the Israeli and Latino communities to turn ground-breaking ideas into ventures that contribute to society and community building."Gideon Lustig
Deputy Consul General of Israel to the Pacific North West region
"I had the pleasure of attending the first annual Latino Leadership Summit. It was inspiring to be in room full of successful Latinos. I had the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and to establish new relationships. One highlight was meeting a young woman who was there as part of the Ivy League Project. She is a high school sophomore from a small farming community in California’s central valley and already has planned to attend either Yale or Johns Hopkins to become a doctor. As Latino professionals, we have a responsibility to encourage and mentor our young people. This forum is perfect and I look forward to next year. I wholeheartedly endorse Frank Carbajal, Es Tiempo LLC, and the Latino Leadership Summit.”

“Social Capital is developed through relationships, and the Summit helped bring together motivated professionals from government, business and academia to develop personal relationships critical to the success of any community. In less than two weeks, I have had “lunch dates” with several people I met at the event.”

“The 2011 Silicon Valley Latino Leadership Summit provided me an opportunity to meet and learn from the Valley's leading Latinos in Business, Public Service, Academia, and Law. The panel discussions and focus groups not only provided a view of the Bay Area's progress overcoming obstacles, but that of our Nation's as well. The diversity of my fellow participants was a refreshing experience. Travelling from Phoenix, Arizona I expected to be one of the few who travelled for the sole purpose of attending the summit. I was excited to see the high school students from Parlier, California; the college students from Utah; the panelists from the Mid-West; and our opening speaker Mayor Julian Castro, from my home state of Texas. The scope of the summit covers all the issues affecting the Latino community across North America, but I was most impressed with the call to actions shared by my peers. A special thanks to the organizers of the event, sponsors, and Stanford University. I look forward to participating in the Silicon Valley Latino Leadership when it becomes the flagship Latino event in Northern California.”

"Attending the Silicon Valley Latino Leadership Summit was an inspiring and revitalizing experience. As a 1st generation student, I was inspired to meet so many exceptional latino professionals who were pursuing their dreams in a plethora of fields yet continually unified in their desire to give back. I was revitalized to learn that I was not alone, when meeting so many professionals who were excited to offer their guidance and support."
"I would encourage more college students to attend, because I believe that we are some of the individuals who can gain the most from an event like this."Juan Sebastian Jurado
